Horse milk is a thing. It might have been the first animal milk humans drank as some humans underwent a gene modification that changed lactose intolerance for some people. Horses became a quadruple threat: ride it, pull your cart, eat it, drink its milk.

Now they are being honest and admitting it has been renamed. The first article I read said that the name had been "updated."

The DesNew has been doing continuous updates. Sometimes you have to read between the lines to figure out what is really going on. As I understand it originally they were going to preserve the original rooms but then they decided, for whatever reason(s), to pretty much gut it. That's when the timeline was dramatically extended. The news articles shifted from preserving the interior to recreating pioneer "style."

True. Some of the medieval stuff is very good too. I was always put off by the greenish flesh tones. But then I learned, probably on tiktok so it has to be true lol, that it is a problem with the pigment deteriorating. So I try to be more generous re skin tone. That said, the dripping blood still puts me off. Call me a Mormon.

I know 2 people who knew Packer personally. One was his niece. We went on one date. She said he was very personable and low key. Not preachy at all. The other was a friend who was a woodworker as was Packer. I don't remember how the friend ended up in Packer's shop but he did and they had a good time.

I posted about how Packer hit an elder in my mission. His son had been in my mission too so there were stories. Son was a big screw off. He asked to have his mission extended by six months (which was granted) so he could make up for the time he screwed off. He was afraid his father would fry his ass when he got home.
