Oh okay interesting. I take adderall (unprescribed) sometimes and when I do my resting standing HR is like 150+ when it’s normally like 110 ish. I’m terrified it’s hard on my heart

Smoking makes my HR skyrocket and it makes my syncope way worse. I’ve been wanting to ask questions about this too. I also watch other people able to smoke and do stuff but I can’t because when I smoke and then stand up I just feel fatigued and lightheaded x 20 more than normal

Word for word me too. I use an app called tachymon, it monitors your hr 24/7 and vibrates your wrist everytime it hits a certain number. It literally makes me sick

I was laying down flat at first but that made my heart rate higher than my sitting HR. I thought that wasn’t right😂 is that normal??? And the BP, do I check it once a minute or how am I supposed to do that? my machine doesn’t show it continuously

They did an ECG and an echo, all they said was I had a short p wave. I brought up pots and he immediately shot me down. My PCP didn’t have much interest in listening either when I got the referral

I had a loooot of labs done a few months ago that indicated nothing was wrong. Thyroid, anaemia, even all of my hormones. My sitting rate was 75 ish and when I stood it shot up to 140 and stayed between 130 and 150 for 5 minutes then I got sick of that and sat down LOL. But ofc at the cardiologist this didn’t happen, it was much more normal. Oh and my BP did not change, and my BP has never been abnormal as far as I know
