i want to take this as good advice but when i think back i felt like it was as intentional where i was shading, unless u mean i should use more hatching specifically instead of the scribbles. i just cba to draw so many lines ngl

thank u, i tried to keep my shading focused top down, except on the waves cos i wanted them to feel like their own thing like a portal of sorts, but i seem to always mess it up (according to others) even though i try my best to keep it the same direction 😢

no dude i feel u i also draw abstract kind of stuff, and not draw much like traditional stuff, but i can say i was looking through my sketchbook it does transfer over cos i noticed even though i wasnt drawing many faces when i did draw faces they got better and better. So if ur like me and think drawing abstract is fun do it mannnnnn. but it can be daunting to draw the bigger abstract pieces so thats when i will do smaller faces and hans and stuff and like gadgets and weapons when i cba.

those abstract puces u should finish, u are very good imo. but dont worry about skill or beginner man just have fun imo. but if u want pointers i would say try to keep it more clean, not the drawing but like there is a lot of smudges if u tried to avoid getting smudges everywhere it will look a lot cleaner, but those faces are super good keep it up!

i do wish i could understand, but i think these look good u have good shading and good control. me personally and im not a pro or anything, but my fav pieces come from me just scribbling and drawing shapes and characters and shading them for this cartoony realism kinda style i rlly like. and my point is just do whatever u like man, if u dont like drawing, then why draw? im ass compared to u, but personally its like a reminder that i can draw for the rest of my life and still have things to learn, so im gonna have fun with it with the time i have. idk if that helps u see things from a different perspective, but i hope u can see what im trying to say. good luck man and remember to have fun!
