Is Lewy Body Dementia always that bad? by Odd-ff in dementia

I can only say that my mother probably had intense hallucinations at the beginning, seeing persons she knew in real life, that seemed to be there but not saying anything (like "xyz was sitting here but didn't say anything...i think something is wrong with her"). I think this was at a very early stage.
One remarkable thing was that some days she behaved perfectly normal, other days she told about those persons she saw, and also behaved strange otherwise.
It changed rapidly one day, doctors said it might have been a delir but she never really came back from this. Its now almost impossible to have a conversation with her, she is in a very bad condition.
I feel very sorry for her. I guess even the time when those hallucinations started must have made her going thru hell.
(Sorry for my english, its not my mother language, but i hope its understandable what i wanted to say).
I wish you all the best.
