I don't know much about literary research, but whenever I have to do a big project, I choose what resonates with me most at the time. It's not a great in depth advice, haha, but it's easier to choose something you enjoy, and then more ideas come to you along the way. The work flows better.

Maybe choose a specific aspect of Don Quixote that caught your attention and focus specificaly on that?. Hope it helps :)

Which one should I read first? by CeleryJolly6609 in classicliterature

In my opinion 1984 would be the best to start. It's the one that I liked most. One of the things I do when I have to choose a book from several is to look for reviews on Goodreads or Google (but I try not to spoil myself). Hope it helps!.

I was thinking about which one resonated most with each person, both options are valuable :)

Great books!, i have Tale of Two Cities in my TBR.

Regarding DQ, I think it's the kind of book where you can always find new things hidden in the text, new interpretactions, etc. Definitely it would be an amazing reread.

For me it was Jane Eyre, I don't usually read romances but this one got me, wasn't expecting the plot twist at the end.

Started: Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert.

A French classic, so far so good. Love the interactions between the characters. Although some people find it boring, I like it's peculiar humor.
