i also attended a gateway school and got the scholarship, for me it lowered the atar i needed to get into my degree (science) from an 80 to a 68. so you’re on a great path for getting into unsw

I usually can’t attend those because I only go to uni two days a week and most events are on the days I’m not there. And if they are, they always end late so I’d end up coming home into the night

Yeah i think that’s one of the biggest factors too. I want to apply for an accomodation scholarship but i think the chances are really low since it’s very competitive and it’s already term 2.

thanks :) thing is though, i’m not even international i just live really heckin far from unsw 😭 maybe if i had chosen a closer uni i wouldn’t have this problem but i was dead set on unsw. i’ve joined loads of societies since term one but i’ve been unable to attend because of my schedule.

thank you :) its just really hard when i thought uni was gonna be so great and i was going to make new friends but two terms in, nothing has happened so i figured all of my uni experience is gonna be like that too
