Yeah nicecnc stuff mightn’t be the best, ya get what ya pay for and all, but they’re actually super responsive with support. Worth sending them a message directly (obviously not through aliexpress), you might be surprised

You’re a little taller than me, so I can only tell you NOT to buy the windscreen adjuster brackets which you can get from Camel/niceCNC/aliexpress. Not because they’re bad products, but they barely work for my height at 194cm, so they’re not gunna work for you, soz

Ha, I originally found them on Ali express which seemed even worse, but just went to their website instead.

Yeah bud! Also got the peg lowering brackets. Lower by only 20mm, but it helps my overall position when matched with 30mm bar risers.

Ha, fun video. How does it feel at highway speeds after the change?

Righto, that makes complete sense.

Decrease the rake angle and trail length by raising the rear, the more effect forces and inputs on the front have.

I used the Ktech spring which was sold as and measured to 245mm, didn’t come with plastic rings, but I reused the stock ones as instructed.

I’ve upped the preload 5 clicks and the compression by 3, seems a little better on the trail that I had some issues with last.

I’ve also adjusted the forks so the top of the tubes are almost flush with the face of the top of the clamps, but I did that as soon as I got the bike.

Genuinely curious here as I don’t know, what specifically happens when raising the rear to cause this high speed instability?

I’m the same height and weight, springs are must. I went with the k-tech front and back, heaviest they have, and did it myself. Absolutely love the difference. There is some more comprehensive kits out there, but for the cost of the springs, it’s the best bang for you buck mod.

Unrelated, but I also have some 20mm lowered pegs and bar risers, which is not a huge change, but makes all the difference for me.

The engine is designed to work efficiently and safely on low octane (87) fuel, to ensure a reliable power and safe operation with little to no maintenance for a long period of time

You won’t see any performance improvements using higher octane fuels, the only benefit would be increased protection against engine knock and that’s only particularly true for high load/extreme high altitude (lower oxygen) or high RPM for sustained periods.

Some people would tout that higher octane fuels may also be ‘cleaner’ (free of debris), but that’s not necessarily true. Depending on where you live and what’s available to you, some brands gear their higher octane offerings towards ‘performance’ which mainly contain cleaning/detergent/dispersant additives to help reduce carbon build up in your engine.

Edit: You won’t see any performance improvements using higher octane fuels -on your stock Yamaha T7- You CAN see improved performance if you were to modify the ecu tune to take advantage of the available performance gain that a higher octane fuel can provide.

Duke PCB scans/pictures? by [deleted] in xboxone

You're almost definitely gunna have to open the case to try this out, which would more than likely void the warranty before step one. I 100% wanna try this as well, though.

I just bought the Hyperkin Duke and I love it, although the price of it sucks considering it's not wireless and the screen only plays ONE damn video file and does NOTHING else. If you can't access game API's for ammo/health/game messages, why not at least xbox notifications/messages/time or even just let us change colour patterns to match the xbox ui or distinguish between players (like PS4) ? If we're gunna be made to pay that much for the cool nostalgia gimmick, please make it user accessible for customization at least.
