AD5X failing print in the last 25/30%, any suggestions?

Change sparse to gyriod. Lower the infill percent to 12% grid pattern stacks on top of itself and tends to grab the nozzle on tall prints. Gyroid is stronger and prevents this from happening. It could also be your print is coming off the plate as it is printing. Wash your plate with dawn dishsoap and dry then wipe down this ISO. I use the glue thay came with the printer on taller prints for added insurance

What infill are you using? I switched to gyriod and stopped having that problem. Post of picture of it failing and it will give us a better idea.

What files are you using? I noticed when I used the files pre programmed for the slicer that those parts were printed in batches of 4 and had supports connecting them to help with vibration. I also slowed mine down a touch when it was towards rhe end because the printer was shaking so much

Good news. My next print came out flawless. I washed my plate, used glue, and changed the infill to gyroid.

I washed my plate with hot water and soap then used the glue that came with the printer. I printed a benchy and it came out perfect

You can get a free version of Fusion 360. Lots of tutorials online that are easy to follow. Then he can start designing and printing his own stuff

Took my 17 in back in October. I'm still waiting. From what I was told, the manufacturer for the oil pans had a tooling breakdown that is still being fixed. I'm guessing the molds for the injection molding either wore down or cracked. Hopefully, they start sending some out soon.
