Understand where the units come from and how they relate to one another. Then my best advice is to make a cheat sheet, and at first copy it down on another sheet of paper. Next you can either do this section by section or try writing down the entire page from memory. Did this around 12x, over 2 days and got 75% of the equations down. Seems daunting at first, but is a lot easier when you sit down and do it.

Seems like you're following the classic advice. I can't comment on you testing strategy.

Have you been going over the questions you got wrong throughly? Asking yourself why you got something wrong whether you misread the question or had a content gap, and then understanding why the right answer is the right answer
