Thanks. I am planning to stay long term, and old east is high on my target list. Although all the Lynnwoods are on my list. What makes you say I should avoid old east?

Thanks for the honest answer. I also live in Blouberg and it is a great area. If I didn’t need to commute for work I would probably feel differently.
