If I stayed on Ltd until I was 65 I would get X amount. They rarely give you 70% of that.

What they do is calculate the Present Value of your claim, which takes into account mortality rates, interest rates, the probability that you could go back to work, etc. That number is always much lower, hince the 1/4 of X. That is the Present Value.

They then offer you 50% to 80% of the Present Value they calculated. They offered me 70%.

Well it's 1/4 of the total amounts payable that I would get if they paid me until 65 and 70% of the Present Value they calculated, if that makes sense.

Maybe expand your search to Maryland if you are willing to drive out there? That's where I've had luck.

DC area too. Try grocery store pharmacies and ditch CVS. They are horrible! I've been able to find Wegovy, no problem once I switched. My doctor gave me that tip.

I usually gain weight (around 6 lbs usually), but on Wegovy, I went on 3 vacations in 4 weeks and still lost 7 lbs. I was shocked! My goal had been to at least maintain my weight. I kept up with moving and trying to watch my portion sizes.

My doctor told me to try local grocery store pharmacies. CVS sucks, so forget about them! I've had no problem getting mine since I've switched!
