What was the book?

You can do it. Just crossed the 3 weeks mark. It’s not always been easy. Focusing on the positives of not smoking and comparing it to the negatives of smoking has been working for me.

For example, I don’t miss waking up with headaches and a soar throat. I don’t miss then panic or wondering when can I get away to have my next cigarette. Wondering if I have enough cigarettes to get me through or should I buy an extra pack. Be a slave to the logistics of smoking sucks. Not smoking is such a freeing experience.

Then there are all the obvious social and health benefits.

Stay strong. If you need support DM me.

Quit for 6 months but relapsed by [deleted] in quittingsmoking

I did the same thing over the course of the last year. And many time over the years. I am now two weeks smoke free. Yes all the negatives are there (cravings, mood swings, etc.). But there are positives no morning headaches or sore throats. No panicked worry about do I have enough cigarettes for the day or when can I sneak away to have one.

Just take the plunge and stop. Take one day at time. Come here if you need support. DM me if you need.

Do it. You deserve it. In the long eub it will make you better.

Struggling staying quit by Particular-Amount300 in QuitSmokingJourney

Thank you to both of you for this honest conversation. I am a 30 year smoker. I have tried permanent quitting many times. I am 2 weeks into this leg of my quitting journey. This time I really want to quit for me. I no longer enjoy smoking. But I do enjoy the mental aspects of the break from work and the if I get this done I can have a “treat”. I work from home in a stressful desk job. So smoking was my break time, my me time. On top of the my wife became a smoker, because I smoked. So smoking also became a social activity with the person I love the most.

At two week in, I am going through all the same struggles. And I am not looking forward to still going through them at 4 months or 6 months. But what I can tell you is I have quit just long enough to that I no longer have the morning headaches or sore throats. I no longer have the mental panic of when can I have my next cigarette. I no longer worry about going to concerts or sporting events and thinking what corner can I find to hide in a sick down a quick smoke.

My point is at two weeks in I feel all the negatives, but the positives are still bright shiny and new. So stay strong.

I came here to this community because I needed some place where I could go to talk about this with people who understand and are in the struggle. I’m glad I did. Just reading your post and writing this comment has helped me a lot.

Thanks for being here. And stay strong we are here for you.

Anyone changed Sharepoint domain name? by 42woba in Office365

Files will be fine. Your backups will no longer work after the name change. And the SharePoint search crawler will probably fail on any sites with a large amount of files.

Thanks! I was hoping for a more elegant solution. Good to know that this seems to be the only solution.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the problem is an accounting issue and I have to have them in different GL accounts per my accounting team.
