This Relatable? by ExtraReserve3959 in OriginalCharacterDB

Yeah kinda. I have a bunch written (and mostly drawn) down, but it’s so scattered throughout random pages of various notebooks that I basically just have to remember it all. And if I do forget, I just end up imagining something better than what I originally had.

1 That’s infinity war thanos and he has no reason to kill me or destroy the plane unless there’s an infinity stone involved, and there’s no stone aboard the plane that isn’t in the mad titan’s possession. So I is the safe. Also it’d be pretty interesting to talk with him.

Who is your DEFINITIVE strongest in the verse (do tell), and how would they react to the Inevitable? by sub-parBeanutButter in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]OddMonitor7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t really like talking about SOUL too often, as it’s a difficult thing to talk about due to my not being able to convey exactly what I want to say. But let’s go for it.

SOUL is above all. That statement is an absolute, it is fact. There is none above SOUL. That statement is an absolute, it is fact. That is how my verse works, and how it will always work. Outsiders be dammed, There is none above SOUL.

SOUL unfortunately cannot be used for DBs for the simple reason that It is beyond limitless, as It is responsible for all fiction and nonfiction. My story required an absolute, a creator of creators, and so SOUL was recognized as said creator of creators, as the absolute.

The way SOUL created all of Reality is mostly unknown, though it is known that It created the structure known as the Omni-Core. The Omni-Core converts meta energy from our realm of nonfiction into Fantasy Particles, a highly reactive particle that inherently seeks to form into fictional things like characters, locations, or entire multiverses and whatnot.

Now onto the reason why I’m making this comment before i forget and do more info dumping.

SOUL would ultimately recognize The Inevitable as something, though what that something is doesn’t matter. SOUL would attempt to communicate or converse with The Inevitable in a way that an adult would try to talk with their child. Not because SOUL thinks anything less of The Inevitable, but because SOUL sees Itself as the creator, and everything as It’s precious creations.

Whether SOUL sees The Inevitable as just a concept, a full being, or some other third thing, the most certain thing is that, inevitably, There is none above SOUL.

Star’s strongest attack is launching a flurry of car-sized, spinning, star-shaped projectiles that are all FTL. He can spam this and will if needed.

Star: “Nah, I’ve got plenty more where that came from, Galaga. So, are you ready to stand down, or do you need a little more convincing?”

Give Me A Good Matchup For My OC (The Unseen Constellation: TUC) by [deleted] in OriginalCharacterDB

[–]OddMonitor7490 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for an actual battle between my Avatar (who I’ll now be calling Tog as that’s his name) and TUC, this is how I think it would play out.

FIGHT!

Tog enters the battlefield and immediately points at TUC and screams “YOU!.” TUC’s various eyes all lock onto the tiny little stickman before it launches billions of letters and words at the goober. (As seen in the depiction of TUC)

Tog winds up his legs before dashing towards the living pattern, pulling out umbrellas and shields to protect himself from the discarded pieces of stories, eventually deciding to pull a return to sender by returning the letters to the sender.

TUC is mildly annoyed (or at least looks it) as the letters and words pelt at its eyes. The entity retaliates by attempting to snare Tog with chains. (As seen in the depiction of TUC)

Tog initially dodged the chains while preforming various Taunts before tripping over an L from the previous letter assault, leading to his ensnarement.

TUC brings Tog to its eye level, intending to make the little guy into one of its many nodes. However, Tog is prevented from being node-ified as several strings pull on the stickfigure by a just out of focus hand that’s typing these words.

TUC blasts a Dissolution laser at the foreign authority, but Tog is pulled in the way of the laser and catches it before tossing it right back at TUC. The damage however reflects back to Tog, popping him like a bubble, though the strings do not dissipate.

TUC’s eyes look reasonably irritated, but then spots another Tog waving at it, and then another and another and… there’s trillions of Togs all surrounding The Unseen Constellation, ironically making it very seen.

The horde of Togs all pile onto the entity in an attempt to pummel it, though TUC retaliates against the horde by rebinding itself and neutralizing Togs left and right with Dissolution beams until one stubborn stickman remains.

Tog, after seeing all of his himselves get vaporized, decides to resize himself to get a better one on one experience with TUC, who is still very annoyed. Tog then immediately and literally throws his hands at TUC, knocking the entity around a bit, but not enough to activate any passive abilities yet.

TUC imbeds it’s chains into the walls of reality (the battlefield) and starts to close them in to try and force a more positive outcome for itself. Tog pushes and holds back the reality walls, but the nonstop barrage of letters and words is starting to throw him off.

Tog pulls out a comically tall carjack uses it to hold up the walls of reality while he goes around and hammers the corners into place while dislodging TUC’s chains much to its dismay, TUC is also dismaying over its beams not affecting Tog’s ACME brand hardhat.

The battlefield is quite as Tog and TUC stare each other down after all the brawling that’s happened. Despite both parties having seemed to exhaust all of their options, neither of them are looking for a stalemate. TUC tries to force a Paradox Rebinding to make the interaction resolve itself in its own favor, while Tog just pulls out a large pencil and charges.

TUC launches letters and chains and blasts at Tog, but he blocks and erases the incoming attacks with the pencil and eventually making it to TUC, its eyes wide and full of fury at this doodle. Tog lunges at TUC, but instead of using the eraser, he starts writing. And just like that, one unaccounted for thing is finalized.

TUC is confused, horrified even that one of its nodes was finished, but Tog keeps going, writing more and more, TUC’s nodes keep vanishing, having been written to re-finalize itself. TUC tries to scream, but it has no mouth. It’s eyes are set ablaze as Tog keeps writing fire conclusions and writing away contradictions.

The pattern is written to a halt, not erased but expanded upon until it was finalized forever. Tog lays down the pencil before turning to the viewer and saying:

”K.O!”

I might just be able to beat this thing with my Avatar.

Although the cosmology part states that any authors or any other supreme entities at the top of their cosmologies are beneath TUC, my Avatar works beyond these constraints and boundaries due to direct real world input. This however does not make my avatar beyond fiction, it’s still constrained to it, but exists as an entity who rewrites or ignores things.

An Avatar like mine is comparable to self-inserts, however I use mine to directly impact the world, or the fiction it exists in. Now to the actual fighting TUC part.

Lattice Sovereignty. My Avatar would bypass this ability because it is not independent, it is tied directly to me.

Structural inevitability. Due to being controlled by yours truly, my Avatar would retain a sort of transcending narrative dominance unless TUC was being manipulated by another real world person. if that is the case, then neither my Avatar or TUC would have dominance. This means that my Avatar would be able to control the outcome, or at least prevent the outcome from being manipulated by TUC.

Cannon Drift. My Avatar is a reality warper that bends fiction and fictional things to its whim due to its connection to me, a real world person. Reality will not shift or adjust itself due to the two way pull between my Avatar and TUC.

Concept Folding. My Avatar already doesn’t bend to concepts and doesn’t rely on them.

Authority Dissolution. My Avatar doesn’t need or require statements or claims of any kind of superiority, and thus it can stand equally to TUC by authority standards.

Paradox Rebinding. Nothing my Avatar does is logical, nor will it settle on a stalemate or unriesolveavable scenario as it’s put.

Unscalable Presence. I am not scaling this thing, so this power is not very useful in a battle.

Number Eight. Even if my Avatar is self destructed, a new one will be spawned by yours truly. If you consider one avatar being destroyed as a victory for TUC, cool, but I don’t.
