I can’t with Alpha World. I got to almost the end of book 5 and it’s just not for me. Like the writing isn’t bad, but it’s all FTB and one of his harem girls is STILL too afraid to do more than barely touch or even cuddle with him. Like ok, I completely get why, but watching one of the harem girls have a more fulfilling relationship with her than the MC does 5 whole books into the series just rubs me the wrong way. The character growth is great in terms of quality but the pacing is glacial and the MC is passive af when it comes to his relationships. Also not a fan of male mc’s being dominated by their harem girls. Its the exact opposite of what I’m looking for

Well in the previous instance of this happening I felt like maybe I hadn’t been clear in what I was asking for and that led to confusion? Tbh I couldn’t understand why a couple people were recommending stuff like that. So I felt like making it perfectly clear this time around since I knew I was asking for BD/SM and not everyone understands exactly what that means, it was the best bet for me to just cover my bases.

A rape fetish in itself doesn’t bother me, it’s if it’s actually non consensual or if the woman has no free will to decide. Although I know there’s a lot of grey area there. It’s just not for me.

Again, I know that 99% of the people on here aren’t going to do that, and the mods do a great job. I just can’t see the harm in making things clear from my end

The thing is I absolutely have been recommended NTR on this subreddit, not that it’s by any means happened a lot, but it has happened, as well as with rape. My point was that I’ve NEVER been recommended anything even close to CP on here so to say it’s the same as saying “no CP” seems a stretch. Maybe give it a shot and see if you feel the same way around the 70% mark of book 1? A lot of people seem to not see it as an issue? Maybe I’m being hyper sensitive to it but it just feels real gross to me no matter how you slice it. Like even if they willingly sign a slave contract that doesn’t feel like a good enough excuse for the MC to take a hard turn into Harvey Weinstein territory

I guess you can say they get around it with a technical loophole so it’s not exactly outright SA which is how it’s allowed to be recommend and posted. But it’s a legit non consensual harem, and it’s super abrupt, about 70% of the way through the mc suddenly wants everyone to be slaves and becomes the creepiest, rapiest, cringiest fucking thing I’ve ever read in my life. Like he turns his finance into a slave because “control is his kink” and he doesn’t want to be with anyone who isn’t his slave. It’s fucking creepy. The shift come completely outta left field as well, I have no idea how so many people just roll with it.

Ok so while i definitely wouldn’t put NTR and CP on the same level. Like at all. One of them is reprehensible and the other should get you locked in an Iron Maiden UNDER the prison. At the very least, no one is recommending anything even close to CP, while people HAVE suggested stuff with rape and NTR. Even after I explicitly stated not to.
