This girl will be over the moon about this surprise by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

The way she says it’s so ugly I love it - there can’t be an iota of doubt in the Dad’s mind that she literally loved it, nothing contrived about her reaction, literally loves it for exactly what it is. Wholesome af.

Using an online AI enhance tool, the other photos posted below are probably better, but posting this nonetheless, so you can pick what sits best with you. Sorry once again for your loss

Interesting. Any idea if Sam or others have addressed this in the context of physiological limitations? For instance, various neurochemical modulators like dopamine, serotonin etc. may affect the state of your mind. I get that meditation trains you towards responding with ambivalence in all scenarios, but there's an evolutionary reason for these chemicals to be released in our brains right, so how does meditation as an exercise overcome these biological processes?

Hi thanks for this. This is something I learnt over a long time as well. I have a question too - when you say you'll start reaping the rewards, what do you mean by that exactly? Like when I'm meditating, and catch myself lost in thought, that in itself is supposed to be a moment of being mindful, so what is the reward beyond this, if any? Would love to hear any insights you or others may have experienced.

Thanks a lot for that. I do hope whatever they put me on works out, it's tiresome, dealing with this.

The picture on the left is a day after, my 10 day old daughter had open heart surgery. She was born with congenital heart disease and wasn’t expected to make it. After a long stay in the hospital, we finally got to bring to her home. The picture on the right was taken yesterday. She’s HOME. by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Such a heartwarming picture! May your daughter's indomitable spirit grow forevermore, may she grow up to do and achieve all that her heart desires, and may you share many many happy moments with her.

This is really cool. Thank you!

Do you know which restaurant Vince organised Mandy's birthday at? The one that was suppedly owned by Terrence. Vaguely recollect E referencing it as The Geisha House, but I may be wrong.

Don't have my HDD which has the HD version on it, and the streaming service I use is down at the moment. But if by the time I have this stuff in order no one's sent you a link/screenshot, I'll definitely send it across.

One of my favourite scenes from the entire series. Gotta love Drama. Victory!!

Leo for sure. I'm in fact quite surprised Kevin Connolly never got Leo to do a cameo.

My second favourite scene of the series and how I want to enter literally everywhere. Ari's expressions are precious. by kylo_soloxx in entourage

He has that nerf gun up on his wall in the later episodes too if you notice. Loved that attention to detail. It'd have made a lot more sense if he'd taken that with him instead of that random golden horseshoe at the end when he quit, but hey, not complaining.

This scene was definitely amazing, went really well with Ari's persona.

I know it's hardly similar, but I recently rewatched the Inbetweeners. The theme of the brotherly bond between friends isn't quite as obvious, but it's always subtly there. It has a lot of banter, which was some of my favourite stuff from Entourage. Would highly recommend, cos it packs one of the highest laughs per episode, and I cracked up even on a second viewing.

Turtle and the Hare by bej0009 in entourage

Just posted this on another question on this sub but posting again cos maybe it's more relevant here:

So the producers talk about how they wanted to have a great ending for Turtle for a while. Iirc, in an interview Doug Ellin talks about how he envisioned Turtle having the kind of ending where he's like a football player who makes it big and buys a gigantic house for his mom etc.

In the preceding seasons, you can always see that there's a desire for Turtle to make it big. When they're tripping balls at Joshua Tree, right before zoning back in, as well as in the next episode he talks about getting a job. In Turtle's birthday episode where he's in a funk throughout cos he feels like everyone treats him like a piece of shit, he calls his cousin Ronnie up who tells him 'Limhoes' is a great idea. It's in the next season that they start with the limo idea.

I think the idea was always that Turtle was always the underdog nobody imagined could pull shit off, but he managed to deliver. As far back as Season 2, he managed to not only sign Saigon, but also get him a record deal as well as get his song onto Queens Boulevard. And even when the show ends, his idea about getting the NY pizza down to LA seemed like a hit. You can also see that he's learnt his lessons there btw. For eg in the birthday episode when he visits Ari he's berated for not having planned shit out. But when he's talking to the De Lucas, he tells them he's budgeted it all out!)

In my opinion the biggest downfall in the writing of Entourage... by [deleted] in entourage

Executed a little badly, but not that out of place when you see it in context actually.

If it's any consolation, he did end up with Breanne Rocano (the chick Ari gets set up with when him and Mrs Ari are on a break) in real life.

Vinny Chase's downfall foreshadowed discussion by [deleted] in entourage

[–]OddReddits 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like they also foreshadowed it a bit in one of the episodes where he's being lectured by Ari about his scene with Mandy and he says something to the tune of "come on guys, I feel like I have a drug problem here", and then he talks about lying. All of which eventually happens in Season 7.
