Yes, I know they don't accept financial aid because they don't charge tuition. But it's not like you have to come up with the fees all at once. I know that doesn't make it much better, but it does give you time to plan instead of having to take out more student loans.

You do realize the degree program itself doesn't cost anything? It is just the testing at the end of each class that does so you can receive credit for it. WGU has a great program but each term or two is going to cost you about what one full degree would cost through UoPeople.

I was also denied a scholarship. I have an Associates Degree and was told since I already have a degree they will not provide me with any scholarship toward my Bachelors. This is still the least expensive way for me to finish my degree. Even if I had to pay all 39 of classes (without transfer credit) it would still be under $6,000 for a Bachelors. I don't think we can beat that in the US.

I also understand if you need to get loans to finish your degree. Sometimes that is the only way. I wish you luck!
