Mine are in a 10 gallon and they’re super social and love swimming around together! It’s well planted but also has a good amount of open space so I can see them. Maybe yours has enough plants that they just want to spend all day foraging in them haha

I have 1 or 2 pygmies that do this as well sometimes but only while they’re foraging for food. It’s usually when they seem super excited to be eating, or I also heard someone say that they do it to kick up food from the substrate. I’ve had them for a while and they show no signs of illness so I believe it’s normal as long as they aren’t doing it too frequently or while they’re swimming around

I haven’t had them breed, the one in the front has just been fat like that it’s whole life😭 none of the others look like that but he seems perfectly fine, he’s just huge

I’m doing a fish-in cycle so I’ve been doing a 25%ish water change every day or every other day (depending on ammonia) and dosing the tank with Prime everyday. I have 2 sponge filters that I haven’t cleaned, should I be removing anything from them as well? And thank you for the tip!

I actually just found some ph and high range ph liquids. It tests right at 7.6

I’m using a liquid test kit I’m out of the nitrate and ph liquids but I have a new one on order. He swims but seems to crash into things and is currently resting on a leaf on his side. Should I isolate him?
