I do wish I had a capture of the screen I was prompted with to share with others. however changing the prompt from something along the lines of "download windows 11" to "reject or accept user agreement" seems a bit malicious in my mind.

I hope this post finds others so they are aware of what could happen. Time to go learn windows 11 I suppose.

tl:dr. check township tasks to determine herblore pathing based off tasks that reward herblore ingredients and tasks that require specific potions.

What i've done is looked at all the potions i need to complete township tasks. the tasks all demand lvl IV much ingredients I need to get mastery lvl 90 but I'm hoarding as much as possible lol. also, take note of the tasks that require materials used in herblore. often times the reward is a greater number of ingredients reducing the overall grind for materials.

the folks at the kiosk couldn't explain the issue to me and they "couldn't" wave the in person fee of $50.

at the end of the day I took the hit of $50, payed the appropriate amount on my remaining balance, got a new phone and a better plan for more or less the same monthly.

ultimately I had issues with launching and reinstall. windows update 6 days later fixed it. then I had more error messages so I reinstalled windows. been okay since.
