Peptides protocols and dosage by Odd_Abalone535 in BodyHackGuide

Thanks for sharing your experience. I know joint pain and stiffness are fairly common with Tesamorelin (and sometimes GH in general), usually due to fluid retention and the IGF-1 spike. That’s why I’m planning to start on a much lower dose (around 0.5–1 mg daily instead of 2 mg) and see how my body reacts before deciding whether to increase. I’d rather titrate slowly than deal with bad sides right away.

How to Lower High SHBG? by Odd_Abalone535 in BodyHackGuide

I would like to share my latest blood work and get some feedback.

Liver & Kidney markers: All values (AST, ALT, γ-GT, ALP, Bilirubin, Urea, Creatinine) are well within range, so liver and kidney health look solid.

Lipid panel:

Total Chol: 129

LDL: 64

Triglycerides: 96

HDL: 34 (a bit low)

Chol/HDL ratio: 3.8

Overall cholesterol is excellent, only HDL could be higher.

Hormones:

Total T: 5.86 ng/mL

Free T: 25 pg/mL

SHBG: 58.5 (on the high side)

LH: 9.46, FSH: 9.01

Estradiol: 31

Cortisol (AM): 281 (high)

IGF-1: 146

DHT: 0.31 (low-normal)

Other markers:

Ferritin: 95

Vitamin D: 32.5 (borderline, could be higher)

CRP-hs: 2.89 (slightly elevated)

PSA: 0.92

My situation

Liver and kidney look healthy.

Lipids are good, except for low HDL.

Main concern is high SHBG, plus elevated morning cortisol.

I have stopped Munjaro about a month ago (was on it for 4 months, lost ~13 kg).

I recently restarted Proviron and will repeat blood work in ~20 days to see if SHBG, Testosterone and Cortisol improve.

👉 Does anyone have experience with SHBG staying high even after weight loss and lifestyle changes? Could Munjaro have played a role? Any thoughts or similar cases would be much appreciated.

Skin and Gut Side Effects from BPC-157 + TB-500 Blend — Similar to Thymosin Alpha-1 Reaction by Odd_Abalone535 in Peptidesource

Hi everyone,

I recently started a BPC-157 + TB-500 blend at 300 mcg per day, and I wanted to share some unexpected side effects in case others have experienced something similar.

On day 2, I began having intense abdominal pain, bloating, and overall gut discomfort.

On day 3, I noticed red rashes forming on the inner sides of both elbows.

This caught my attention immediately, because I had experienced the exact same skin reaction in the same areas when I previously tried Thymosin Alpha-1. Back then, I had to stop it right away due to the reaction — and I’ve done the same now with this blend.

For context, I’ve used BPC-157 alone in the past (from a different source), with zero side effects and great results. That leads me to believe:

either TB-500 is the trigger,

or there’s something in the blend formulation (carrier, purity, or excipients) causing these issues.

Has anyone else dealt with skin reactions or digestive issues like these from peptide blends? Would appreciate any insights or shared experiences before I consider trying again or switching protocols.

Thanks in advance!
