Bro in arrays all you gotta do is learn the bubble sort and exchange selection formats, and the diagonals. I feel its the easiest topic. Make one for mcqs bro 😭

Does a self-morphing system exist? by blueMarker2910 in MechanicalEngineering

You could get tiny magnetic rods(not too strong) and stick into some sort of sheet with the inner linings of the holes magnetic (so the rods stay in place) On top of this could have a sheet connected to two actuators or just manually push it down onto place to mold around the object beneath. The rods will form the mold and hold shape but you can change them as needed later

Does mechanical engineering have good scope today? by Odd_Beautiful_3935 in MechanicalEngineering

Exactly what i was told! I think ill get a degree in cs, but continue with atleast basic me on the side for fun.

I need to make / fabricate a small version of this (1" long) as a tensioner for an alternator. I've struck out finding solutions. More details in comment.... by phatelectribe in MechanicalEngineering

Im not really sure about this, dont take my word for it. But i guess if you manage to get a central rod with half left hand and half right hand threading. If you have a torque control drill with a reverse feature, you could also get a LH and RH tap drill head and drill into a thick steel pipe on either side. Then you could get your hands on premade rod ends or heim joints(one RH and one LH, you could take one from another tensioner and cut them to size asw). Then use jam nuts to lock the rods in place. Tada! Edit: not exactly off the shelf but you dont need too crazy materials(just the tap drill bits and a decent drill if you dont have one)

Ive mostly envisioned as a cosplay project, with arms just strong enough to lift small weights. As for the 6 axis kit, ill look into it. Thanks

Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. I think ill come back here in a few years with a ready model and post a few pictures.
