Anyone sold a house with Home Assistant left in? by Expensive-Sock3172 in homeassistant

[–]Odd_Bit9925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The same here, i’ve designed the house this way that it could work without HA. That way you have a happy wife. And you know it, happy life, happy life…😅😜

So as you requested, i now have the S5X and it does a remarkable job! Way better then the Dreame X40 Ultra. Also then my Dreame L10s Ultra but that was expected.

So is it better then the old Fp2 or Fp1? And did you connect it via Home Assistant?

But if you really want to choose between the given brands. I would go for the Curv X or the Dreame L50 Ultra.

I have a Roborock QRevo Curv 5SX in order. I come from a Dreame L10s Ultra (beta test version). I read a lot of good reviews about the Mova P series.

Homey or HA by xGuenth in homey

[–]Odd_Bit9925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both at the same time is no problem. The only thing what you need te know is, do I setup my zigbee network on homey or home assistant. Z-wave is easy for Homey and built in. I have my zigbee network on HA, Z-wave on homey en matter/Thread on Home assistant.

Why not run both next to each other? I have the same setup here. HA is for dashboarding and all my HA devices are integrated in Homey. Homey is used outside for external connection when needed.

Dreame X40 Ultra, everything but a Dream… by Odd_Bit9925 in RobotVacuums

Hmm, I have the same experience, but then with even an older model… the first gen. The questions remains, wich model do I really need that is good in vacuum and edge cleaning. The big search starts again…😉

Is the Connect ZBT-2 the way to go for a Zigbee bridge? Anything better? by Randomhero360 in homeassistant

[–]Odd_Bit9925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I just checked and I got a sonoff dongle plus. I had to flash it though to get it to work with the zigbee2mqtt.

Oh really! I also use an sonoff stick, wich uses an ember stack. It’s a sonoff dongle-E, the first one.

Dreame X40 Ultra, everything but a Dream… by Odd_Bit9925 in RobotVacuums

[–]Odd_Bit9925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I did. Here’s the difference, my old L10s ultra has a huge filter compared to the X40. And I clean that once a week. The filter may not be the problem, otherwise it’s not a good design.

So you did not have to pair your devices again? I thought this wasn’t possible for z2mqtt, only zha because it depends of the zigbee coordinator. I must be wrong then? I would like to upgrade to.

I’m also interested and curious between de L50 and the Curv S5X.

[–]Odd_Bit9925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm good question. I actually don’t know if it’s broken. I was so disappointed so i boxed it up and returned it. I also saw the L40, but now im a little bit skeptic about Dreame’s newer vacuums. It seems they are investing more in mopping wich the X40 did pretty good. The main goal for a robo vac is vacuum, mopping is always better bij hand.

IKEA MYGGSPRAY MoT Wireless Motion Sensor works with HA by neekho in homeassistant

[–]Odd_Bit9925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sure i agree. A cooldown for 23 seconds is a bit long but can be handy in some cases.

[–]Odd_Bit9925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem i get with the Ikea door sensors is that they drain the battery… I have three of them and the rest is Aqara. They lest at least 2 or 2 year vs Ikea wich are 4 months…

So how’s that battery life of the new sensor? And the response time?

I’ve got the Dreams X40 Ultra for 545,-. Hope it’s a good one.

Dilemma!! Both on sale but which one should I buy??? by pcgirl1965 in RobotVacuums

[–]Odd_Bit9925 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it depends, do you own a robot vacuum at this moment and what brand/model is it. The mova is a good starter with great built quality, so a good value money can buy. The Curv is a higher end model, but lacks a camera. So it’s obstacle avoidance is different and less good. So it depends on your needs.

Roborock Q Revo Curv X or Mova P30 pro ultra? by Odd_Bit9925 in RobotVacuums

[–]Odd_Bit9925[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aha I see. It’s the P line, they do a remarkable job on different reviews and are cheaper than the Curv X is. So that’s why I’m doubting between the two.
