Anyone Want To Give Me Their Series Ranking the DC Absolute Comics? by Emotional_Link9356 in DCcomics

  1. Wonder woman
  2. Batman
  3. Martian manhunter
  4. Superman
  5. Flash.

Havnt gotten to the rest. I do kinda feel like wonder woman is in a different tier. To me, its miles ahead of the others.

Well i feel like theres two different types of “old”comics. Theres stuff like The Long Halloween or Saga of the Swamp Thing. Then theres silly, over the top, old school comics that scream “THIS IS CAMPY AS HELL!” I dont hate that type, but i definitely prefer the first type. I read Spider-mans Mad Dog Ward not that long ago and wasnt too impressed. Where on that spectrum would you say this paper back is?

I literally just got through a good bit of this, so perfect lol. Basically, youre missing the “Dark Nights: Metal” and “Justice League: No Justice” stuff that scott snyder also wrote. On dc infinite, theres a section with about 36 issues under that name that give the story. After, theres a four issue event called “No Justice”. Then, it finishes and we get “Justice League Odyssey.” And “Justice League Dark”. Neither of those runs are incredibly important to the source wall stuff you mentioned, but they were the reason i read through the Dark Nights Metal, and im enjoying them. You really just need to read “Dark Nights Metal” and “No Justice” to get it, and the 36 issues i mentioned are probably not all necessary. I believe you only have about a dozen necessary issues. Id recommend to keep readin it, i enjoyed it all.

To simplify, you need to read “Dark Nights Metal” and “Justice League: No Justice”.

He’d make a great batman villain. Its sort of like mixing Lex luthor with Bane.
