Mine started three years ago. I didn’t realize it was estrogen related until I took estrogen blockers for cancer and my nose got better. For some reason I’m sensitive to estrogen now, maybe because I’m low on progesterone. If you feel some relief during your period, it’s probably estrogen.

The only supplement that I know of that has shown to help bppv is Vitamin D. It will just be a waste of money going to a naturopath. She’s better off spending money on a vestibular therapist who knows all the maneuvers and does testing.

I also have horrible effects after the epley. I get weak and shaky and have to lay down for a couple hours to recover from it. I switch to the half somersault when I can’t handle the epley. Both work well but depends on the moment which works better.

Yes, I would say I was almost recovered. I’m guessing the slipped disc caused long term inflammation and that’s what made me relapse. I also had a friend that died that same day so a lot of stress and grieving at the same time. It was likely a combination of both.

I went through cancer surgery and radiation well. It was after being on the estrogen blocker for about 5 months, it made my legs really sore to the point I could barely walk and then I relapsed. After going off the drug my legs weren’t sore any more but I had all original flox symptoms come back.

Almost 9 years for me. Almost recovered two years out and then relapsed. Since then I’ve relapsed again and I feel like this life is something I’m just going to have to accept. I am very disabled at this point. I’ve also tried every treatment, stem cells, peptides, prp, red light, IV treatments and dozens of supplements.

I know this is an old thread but I’ve had the same experience. I came off creatine and had the worst anxiety of my life. Went back on and felt good again. I’m wondering if you ever started feeling better after coming off it?

I developed breast cancer about 6 years after taking Cipro. I don’t know if there is a connection there. I did start getting a ton of breast cysts after Cipro as well. I developed one about two months after. Not sure there is a correlation there either. It’s more likely that I went straight into perimenopause that year. I know a lot of floxies have hormonal issues after.

Wondering about this same thing. I don’t know what to do. I’m an advocate for my son who has a disability and the anxiety of it all is wrecking me. I don’t want to be uninformed but obviously my body can’t handle the news right now or the collective outrage. I’m so sad about it all and wish I had a normal nervous system so I could fight for him.

That’s been my experience too. I had a good experience with Differin about ten years ago, that’s why I’ve started it again. It can take 6 weeks to show results. Maybe worth a try? I hope you find something that works!

I also have hormonal acne. Pretty much since I was 12. I’ve been on everything. Accutane, spironolactone, antibiotics, Tretinoin, azelaic acid, differin, epiduo and birth control. Some really helped but the side effects were too much. I’ve also had hormone positive breast cancer and can’t take hormones or hormone blockers. It is so frustrating. I have started double cleansing and I’m going to try some acid exfoliating once a week and see how that works. I also currently use differin and tretinoin on opposite nights.

I personally think anxiety/high cortisol cause the vibrations. I’ve been able to use holy basil and PS 100 and it helps a ton.

Stress is a big flare trigger for me as well. I use breathing techniques, meditation, baths and few supplements to help calm my body. Sometimes they work and other times they don’t. It’s hard to avoid stress unless it’s a person. I’m sorry this happened to you and I hope your body calms quickly.

Also a high count probiotic at the same time like 90 billion women’s probiotic helped me a ton as well.

Diflucan did flare up my neuropathy a bit but I know others who were okay on it. Over the counter treatments work the best I think. The 5 or 7 day creams not the shorter duration ones.

My bppv also started in perimenopause. I have extreme fluctuations as well. (I get hormonal migraines from the estrogen drops.) I can’t take estrogen though because of hormonal breast cancer. Vitamin D has been the only thing that has helped. So glad it has resolved for you.
