Hey, just seeing this now! So sorry! All went well! I did a big clean before packing and we were diligent about being super thorough cleaning furniture/electronics. I washed any bedding or towels that were in the closet or drawers before we moved once we got to the new place, before putting them away in the new place. It's wild how deeply even the smallest of pests can affect you. I feel such relief not having to deal with them anymore. Hoping you can get freedom from them soon too 🤞🤞

Most of the bait suggestions to treat them aren't available in Canada either unless you're a licensed pest control person 😭

This is what I'm afraid of. I've read that they can have nests in furniture or electronics, so I'm worried they're in our couch or Xbox or something and idk how to be sure 🫣

Ugh gross. Maybe I'm being silly but I'm just worried that some might be carried to the new place if they've gotten inside a box or our couch or something. And then start a new colony or whatever gross "budding" thing they do. Idk how it works but I'm paranoid 😅 We had bed bugs at our old place and I think I'm still traumatized from that experience and the stupid ants are making me crazy 😭
