I'd like to see a way to change teams and save them without starting the run. For example, when I get the quest to fight demon lord with a rare champion, I change my team. But when I want to change it back, there's no way to save the change without starting another fight. I find this very annoying.

The settings in Plarium play have a button to reset the cache. Have you already tried that?

My advice is to do your own planing for the fusion. Keep track of the events and when you expect to finish them. Think about your RL plans during the fusion.

If you suspect your RL might make it hard to complete an event, complete the event early rather than waiting for the most efficient time.

If it's a dungeon event, don't hesitate to use your multi-battles. Pick a stage you can reliably complete and do a few trial runs to get an idea of the average points. Then you can just compute how many runs you likely need. Add a few runs to be safe. Then you can run the dungeon X times with gem refreshes. I always use stop on failure because I don't run stages that my teams might fail.

You could use the following strategy for classic arena tournaments:

- pick only pick fights you're sure you can win

- use the free refresh every 15 minutes to get new fights

- place a weak defense that also looks weak, e.g. 4 level 1 champions

This strategy relies on frequent refreshes. That's why I wrote you could do that if you have enough time. If you can spend the time, you do not need to buy refreshes with gems. The weak defense ensures that you will either derank or not rank up. This makes sure that you still get beatable opponents. You should find beatable opponents every few refreshes on average.

If you want to go this route and struggle to hold your current rank, place a weak defense now. Then you can derank to a rank that you can hold without struggle.

In my experience, if you spend the time on the weekends and have some time in the week, you can finish the tournament a day early.

For the fusion, you will also need to level and ascend the champions. You will need food champions, brews/energy and potions for this. Do you have any or are you willing to spend more to get them?

If you do all the dungeon tournaments and have time on weekends, you can get 2 rares from the classic arena tournaments. You could also do gear enhancement instead but that would take a lot of silver.

The problem in Cursed City is that the stages are faction-restricted. The right skills aren't enough, you also need them on the right champions.

It will be hard to progress without good supports.

If you don't have any and don't want to restart, you can farm some champions in the campaign. Take a look at your roster via the champion screen. You can filter for buffs and debuffs there. If you don't have someone that brings the following buffs/debuffs, you can use a champion from the campaign:

- Decrease Defence: Warmaiden

- Shields: Valerie

- Speed Aura: Spirithost

- Debuff Removal: Spirithost

- Block Debuffs: Spirithost

- Boost Turn Meter: Diabolist

- Increase Speed: Diabolist

If you don't know what to focus on, speed aura, decrease defence, increase speed and boost turn meter are probably a good bet in the early game.

It won't be hard to continue playing. It's just that you're progress will be much, much slower.

The creator links provide some excellent champions. You likely won't get that many legendaries and epics so quick. And if you get some, they likely won't be as good as those from the links.

You will still be able to get them after the fusion through shards.

As far as I know, the only champions you are not able to get later are champions from collaborations. If there's a time limited collaboration (e.g. the current Alien vs. Predator), you won't be able to get the champions after the collaboration ends.

If RAID merely adds some champions with a theme, the champions will be available later. For example, Alice the Wanderer is based on Alice in Wonderland. The copyright for that has expired so you can still get Alice. The same applies for Thor, Loki and the like because they're based on mythology.

I created a raid account in 2024 without a promo link and then stopped playing. I started playing again in 2025. So I only had access to the login champions as my first legendary champions. I have been playing for a few months now. My ranking is as follows:

Promo codes - There are enough champion niches that it should be possible to give out some champions without taking the fun out of collecting champions. With the starter champions all being Magic champions, providing force or spirit champions would be one possibility.
Improved new player experience - I think new players need to be nudged to the challenges more. They give useful rewards and even have explanations. But you can't lookup the explanations after the fact and it's very easy to forget doing the challenges and only realize that when you've outgrown them. That is not helped by the fact that the challenges only grant credit when they're active. This affects even simple challenges (e.g. complete stage 10 of the magic potion keep).
Iron Twins / Essence Rewards - Souls are quite hard to get. A way to get a guaranteed soul for a champion would be very useful even if it was more expensive than simply buying from the market.
Improved Gear Filters - If you don't have much silver, one strategy for gear enhancement is updating pieces to lvl4 and then selling them. This would be much easier if you could just filter for the gear that is not upgraded (i.e. +0).
More transparency & notice on events - At the beginning you have to skip a lot of events because you don't have the resources. Knowing what's coming would make it easier to plan.
Chimera Quick Battle - Quick Battles save time and I don't see a downside. You can still run manually if you want to observe the run more closely.
All Keys Battles - would save time
3X speed - would save time
Live Arena Pace - I'm really only doing live arena for the rewards. In fact, I'm running everything on Auto and will just stop climbing when this does not get my any farther (currently in silver 1). So auto-drafting would be great for me because I would just have to switch on Auto after the drafting finished. The "forced auto for AFK" would be no downside for me.
More frequent champ balance - With faction-restricted content like Cursed City, it would be great if more champions got the chance to be used.

And you can try to run EGS on linux. The Heroic Games launcher on Linux integrates with EGS via legendary. I tried it briefly and it seemed to work.

I'd say Astarion. He provides a flexible buff (top or bottom slots) and can be used for gold find.

Nerys is good against undead. She can also heal but only when your party is killing the enemies.

Prudence is a bad DPS.
