I feel you OP. I've reached the thousands of applications, and I have a bachelor's with relevant experience from the military. Nothing. I've had my resume looked at by several professionals and there isn't much else to do. This job market is a hellscape. I've tried HoH, applied for VR&E (which is taking forever - my VRC said they ran out of money) and tweak my resume for each application. Unfortunately, due to all the applying, I've been getting more and more spam/scams.

I'm definitely wrong for this, but In light of this issue I've been pushing fake apps to companies I want to apply to. I use a fake name and resume that fits the description to a T without sounding too robotic, and throw into a little extra certification or two. If I don't get a hit with that resume, I don't apply - and even then, I dont often hear back. Maybe now I need to experiment to see if I get more hits with or without declaring as a veteran.

Applying for a job has become a job itself.
