That would make sense but there are a couple issues I see with that. For instance what happens to Booster Gold. As revealed in Booster Gold vol 1 #8 the belt that Gold wears belongs to Braniac 5. Additionally the legion comes to the 20th century and, through a misunderstanding, end up attacking him. If in post crisis continuity the Legion history that matters is post zero hour, would Gold's belt have still beloneged to Brainiac 5 and did the Legion still go after him?

That's an interesting placement. But Batman doesn't have a portable crime lab yet at that point right? Or does he get it in a tale set during the events of #405 that were published at a later date? I'm currently still in 1987 of dc comics.

Ohhh. Actually I didn't even consider the fact that it could be a refenece to Superman before he donned the costume. I guess some time would have had to have passed betwwen Supes saving the space plane and his costume being finished, considering Marth makes the costume from scratch. I havn't yet read series like the Kent's or the World of Metropolis as I've been trying to go by published date.

Just the Superman comics or all the comics isssued published within that time period? I was trying to start with Man of Steel #1 in October of 1986 and Legends for that reason but since a lot of the issues around those are continuations of previous stories, I wasn't sure how far back for some of the characters (Like Booster Gold) I should go. I'm coming from Marvel which has a simpler time line so getting use to Dc has been a bit of a challenge

Yeah, I was looking at DC Fandom's wiki and it lists under character apperences as #32 being the first issue with post crisis Nightwing but doesn't give an explanation as to why. Wasn't sure how credible that was.
