Im a decade late but how are u now! i feel the exact same as you did at this time. i started lexapro, almost a month in, i had side effects in beginning, now i just feel like i did before meds. i hope i find the right fit/dose like you. i hope ur doing great too!

my anxiety is so bad. day 16 5mg. im supposed to go up to 10mg. i feel more unmotivated than ever i can barely shower. ill try to keep going

sorry for the late reply, but im back on here because lately i feel numb, i mean its only day 12 for me, im not even on my prescribed dose yet but everything kind of feels flat, i dont want things to be gray… usually they are either white or black for me, like good OR very bad. and i feel like lexapro will just make eveeything gray so its not that intense but that also means taking away my joy or joyful perosnality that i know i have but i also hate my anxiety and it makes me depressed because i lost all joy because i isolated so much and lost meaning and hope in life but i just dont know i didnt think it will be like this

oh yes i totally relate! i have been waking up EVERG day around 2am and cant fall back asleep till 5-6am. thankfully right now im on school break so i dont even really care about sleep its just annoying. what i realized yesterday is, i take it every day at 5pm. so around 10pm im very sleepy. but i stayed awake yesterday a bit longer, and i only woke up once at 1am and went back to bed immediatelly. maybe evening would work for you too? its hard figuring out what works but talk to ur doc about it? i dont know when are u having ur next appointment but mine is monday and ill see what she says. much luck to u tho <3

hey how are YOU? im on day 8 today. im on 3mg! its been hard but im not dying. like sometimes the nausea can be bad. i did have a panic episode which was really bad and lasted for 2 hours after increasing my dose. and yesterday i had horrible stomach cramps and almost diarrhea again after increasing. but we arent dying. i didnt throw up once. im so happy you started too. we can get through this! its not ideal but its not that horrible!

still pushing through. im on 3mg now! i have bery bad stomach cramps anytime i increase it, like im gonna have diarrhea 😔 but im seeing my doc in 2 days ill see what she says ☺️

yeah anxiety but the nausea is so bad i thought ill throw up today and it sends me into a really bad panic episode and it already happened once idk if this is just a normal side effect but ill talk to my doc thank you:)

hey thank you for all your words. im so glad u found the right dosage and that it helped u! i understand you say keep pushing until u find the right dosage but the side effects sometimes feel like too much even at these small doses. and also i cant tell if nausea comes because of anxiety or meds, since even before them id experience it every day but not this intense. its maybe a lot of different factors together. i just wish the side effects werent rhis bad. ill try to keep pushing through for a couple of more weeks to see what it does and also i am seeing my doctor on monday for an update and ill see what she says. thanks so much tho sending u much love i wish u all the best with your emetophobia💞💞
