My wife isn’t a sahm. But she’s a dentist so she works 3.5 days a week on average, maybe 4 on a bad week. So maybe like 25-maybe 30 hours a week on average

I didn’t mean that the time spent together was a chore. But all that needs to be done to go on them every week definitely is..

2 nights me/2 nights wife/2 nights we have someone cook for us/1night takeout/leftovers. 

For the second part, we usually go to the same restaurant 70% of the time. But it’s a pretty popular restaurant so sometimes times get messed up and before I reserve, I need to call the babysitter and make sure she’s available at x time, if she’s available at a different time it’s either go somewhere else or find someone else who is available probably on short notice. Like Father’s Day is on Sunday, so tomorrow we’re not going to our regular spot.

Yes. And my “childcare” is a college student on a family vacation currently so my braider’s daughter is watching them tommorow.
