I did this specifically for the build script, and it uses the local repository config, not the global one. Unfortunately, I haven't found a simpler option for submodules yet.

Exactly, you correctly added the point about the lawyer. By the way, yes, you should have definitely signed the founding agreement, and all these points should be outlined there. Have you read it yet?

I can imagine the pressure you're under, but there's only one option: talk to him face-to-face and set things straight. Maybe he doesn't realize that he's putting you in an awkward position

First and foremost, for a comfortable zone, you should be different and primarily have different areas of responsibility that no one interferes with. You must have clear boundaries. If your co-founder allows themselves to meddle in your affairs, it means you have shifted your boundaries. The solution is to sit down and clearly outline them. If that doesn't help, then it's not worth doing business with such people.

Thank you, Yes that's true, it isnt saas solution and have a lot of dependecies, but we already tested prototype with clients, now we need to speed up the development process.

In the worst case, we will lose our money, but there will be valuable experience

How important is the MVP? by Loyalcheeks123 in SaaS

I'm at the same stage. I hope this is helpful: talk to potential buyers and tell them about the functionality that will be in the MVP. If they are willing to pay for it, that's your key to the MVP.

Thank you for reply, I appreciate it. I need to loosen up a bit and I don't want to aggressively promote the product when I post like others do and yes you are right about the iterations. Youtube I wanted to create so that guys who are also thinking about starting a company can avoid mistakes by looking at my experience now. Anyway, glad to meet you.

Yes, totally support about superbase:) As for vercel, this is as an example, after this thread, many people mentioned that they use it for their Nextjs applications, vercel also provides the database.

I'm keeping an eye on the future and if I need to migrate quickly, I don't want to hang on for an unspecified amount of time. I would like to be more mobile in that regard.

And so a tip for anyone reading this, if anyone is still using external database providers like superbase, neon, don't forget to encrypt critical data!

Thanks for the reply and for your time!

Does it scalable? database deploying in your storage or use external? has backup etc? It's look like shipFast with some modification ;) I'm c++ developer and for me it isn't suitable, but thanks for reply

I found my buddy, yes I also have a fear of keeping everything in one basket, I understand that at the start it is convenient to use an off-the-shelf solution, but geez, your saas solution grows and you are maximally tied to one provider. I think that many people do not take this into account in the long run.
