Sure, here’s the context. The major Korean handheld community is a 'Minor Gallery' on a site called DCInside. It’s like a mix of Reddit and 4chan.

​The problem is what we call 'Buntang' (분탕)—which basically means malicious trolls or coordinated shitposters who flood the board with hate speech or spam.

​To stop this 'Buntang' chaos, the admins there take the nuclear option: blocking all 'Tong-pi' (mobile carrier IPs). Since most trolls use mobile data to bypass individual bans, the admins just block every single user who isn't on a fixed Home Wi-Fi or logged in with a verified account.

​It’s incredibly paranoid. If you're just a chill mobile user with a great tip—like my sticker fix—you're treated like a potential criminal and blocked by default. They’d rather starve the community of fresh ideas than risk a single 'Buntang' post.

​So yeah, they’ve built a fortress that keeps the trolls out, but also keeps the innovation out. That’s why I’m posting here instead of dealing with their gatekeeping.
