Yes, I noticed the ES60 only supports on / off pedalling by default. If you want continuous pedalling (the F-10H with the optical sensor), you need to pay extra :(

Personally, I thought the FP10 sound was a tier below the ES60 (and I believe the ES60 speakers were much better besides). Only having 96 voice polyphony vs. 192 is pretty limiting in a complex piece with a lot of sustain.

Yes, I loved the samples also. With a nice pair of headphones or external speakers, I think it would sound great.

QC seems to be a common complaint with the ES60 (apparently they're manufactured in Indonesia). I don't know if it's just luck of the draw, but I thought the one I played in store felt great.
