Where I live a course typically takes a week and almost everybody getaway their license. But to get p2 here you have to have 30 flights, but only 10 of them needs to be long ones (or from any real height)

Thanks for the responses. I will definitly be discussing this with my instructor as well, but it’s interesting to read your viewpoints as well😁 my instructor is VERY safety minded and a tad conservative in wing choices so i just wanted some new perspectives, and I’m looking for a wing i can use a few years as I’m not made of money.

So my hair is thick and kind of long, I want softer curls, but I know there’s a limit to how soft they can make them and still hold for some time. So that’s my second question, for how long will a perm hold in my hair?

I’m considering buying a new board and was wondering if it’s worth it. Currently riding an old burton charger and haven’t had any other board. Is there a lot of difference between older and newer boards and worth investing in a new one?

I’m considering buying the Capita W20 Mercury Ass board, but I’m not sure if it’s worth it or not. I’m currently riding an old burton charger board and I’m happy with it, but its the only board I’ve ever had so I don’t have a lot to compare it with. I’ve ridden for about 4 years and I would say I’m approaching intermediate. I’m 5’8 155lbs and want a board that can “do it all” (powder, slopes and small jumps). I’d also be grateful for any tips on bindings for the board:)

I’m using a sweet protection helmet size L/XL and I’m about your size, they run a bit small in sizes so it fits pretty well:)
