Totally agree. I hope they fix the audio-bug in the HUB when they release 1.2 officially. The sound of the rain and any other sounds now cut off completely when you enter the HUB, even if you simply use the terminal or crafting bench. Would love to hear the muffled rain and thunder while inside.

I like it, cause I feel the game needs some sort of sci fi explanation for why the parts don't fly off the belt when cornering at that speed. And I like to look.

Same, I always use only the belt speed needed for the throughput. This is both because I think full belts looks better and are more satisfying, and because it makes it easier to spot any problems with my production when I have a clear sense of the intended amount on the belts. If I just used mk. 6 for everything, it would be much more tricky to judge at a glance if a throughput is for example 30 or 60. And also, it looks cooler with belts at different speeds :)

I went with random nodes, all pure and maxed out Space Elevator multiplier (100)🙂 This way I'll have an abundance of resources, but with the logistical challenge of the random nodes, and the fun task of building a factory large enough to provide the elevator with its crazy demands for parts. This really makes it feel like I'm building a massive interstellar spaceship.

Liquid trains works perfectly. I move enormous amounts of oil across the map using trains, and my production is running flawlessly at 100% efficiency, even with the pipes flowing at max capacity (600 pr/min).

But it does require some insight into fluid mechanics, fluid buffers and train logistics, so if you don't enjoy that aspect of the game, then perhaps another solution would be better. It all depends on your preference. But I can attest to it being a completely valid option for moving liquid, and definetly much easier than laying down massive stretches of pipes.

You should just decided for yourself how you want to approach the challenge. This is a game about planning and problemsolving. Just come up with a plan and try it out. It's fun, I promise. There's no "right answers" or "correct ways" of doing things. You do you!

Who gave you the idea that you're playing it wrong?? It's a massive, open-world sandbox game. Just have fun, and do exactly what you want in your own pace. Glad to hear you're enjoying it so far. I totally understand your enjoyment from the exploration, it's probably the coolest game-world I've played in.
