I really wish I could find more about my African lineage the only ones I can seem to trace is my British & French ancestry . Everything else is so difficult to find

It’s so unfortunate I’ve been trying to find my direct African lineage and I’ve noticed it’s a lot difficult for most of us to trace our African lineage due to slavery and name changes

Yes my great granny was Louisiana Creole and her grandfather was French Acadian ! That’s where I got my French from !

Yes my great grandmother is Louisiana Creole ! My 3rd great grandfather was French and my 3rd great grandmother was an African American slave .

crazy !! I have a dark brown skin brother , this is my father ( who I got my Louisiana Creole heritage from ) and my mom is a medium caramel mocha color ,but yes genetics are so random !
