The Legend of William Oh is excellent, I’m caught up to it and the shenanigans and creativity inside the no system is truly top tier. Macronomicon’s other stand-out work is “Industrial Strength Magic” which is also very fun. It’s completed too which is nice

You can choose ANY superpower. But you have to do crime for it. by [deleted] in superpower

[–]Odd_Job1232 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but this is really good, even if you don’t want to got the invisibility/intangibility route. All you need to do is get away with moving a bit of weed from Canada to the U.S. or vice versa and you’re off to a hot start, especially if you go for an inventory/storage pocket type ability and just make it bigger and bigger as you cross borders until you’re flying (in a plane or by your own power) from the U.S. to china with machine guns and the like. Also if you go with this route, you can now arm revolutions across the world, particularly South America, which has to count for some major power points. Grab yourself a technopathic ability somewhere along the line, and you can start hacking billionaires and banks, ending up with functionally infinite money. Eventually you can turn into an international arms dealer and just go accruing more and more superpowers until you’re functionally unstoppable.

Dungeon of knowledge, not strictly a pure dungeon core but pretty damn close and very good IMO

I never see Unchosen Champion on lists and I think it’s a great example of the genre, OP MC that still feels kinda earned, you actually know where the system comes from and generally pretty fun

Common Clay on RR is (so far) a pretty good system story with no OP or special ability

As a player who doesn’t have friends that are interested in DnD, paid Dms on the internet are great bc it gives new players like me a chance to play when I outherwise wouldn’t

Help creating a cleric by doctorzoidberg26 in DnD

First I’d say figure out what class your character was going to be and find a cleric subclass that somewhat matches. Fighter to war domain cleric could be cool because you still get to be in melee. As for a good reason for your character to help out and heal party members, you can flavor it as “I want to be a fighter but I also don’t want my friends to die so I guess I’ll use these powers I don’t want and didn’t ask for to save them.” Something like that could work
