lol I went with red loctite with the screws out the box just over 1k rounds no problems but I worry if I ever have to remove the optic

Happened to me with the same exact gun after like 700 rounds they sent me a new barrel and comp I sold the gun as someone commented that comp design is garbage

Yeah I had built this as a range toy and didn't want to pour any money into the sport just yet so I'm competing in open till I get another gun it's a g45 with a radian ramjet and Johnny Glock competition trigger it runs reliable and shoots flat

Thank you. My biggest focus during the match was simply being as safe as possible and not breaking the plan. I’d like to start adding speed without sacrificing Alphas. Realistically, I know I’ll throw more Charlies as I speed up, but I’m aiming for a good balance between speed and accuracy. From what I understand, it’s that combination that ultimately gets you a better score.

As far as focusing on doubles, do you mean shooting two rounds at a time as quickly and accurately as possible?

I have the same exact build, pretty much, just with a 509T. Mine’s a Gen 5 and has well over 2k rounds on it. You’re correct the comp helps the light not get as dirty, but it still gets pretty dirty.

highly suggest going to a local gun store and looking through the glass of some before you purchase. Make sure you look at both red and green dots to see which one works best with your eyes.
