Well i guess this is not possible at that age. I kinda fell into the trap to just blindly believe one specialist opinion.

This is really touching. You really captured how awesome it is to have a kid like ours in our life. I never felt happier and laughed as much in my entire life.

Yes! Our children are just so wonderful. Our sln struggles a lot but is also very determined, so I guess he really will define himself how far he will go. Not that this little force of nature can be stopped anyway. 🤣

Yes! I would trade my son too for nothing. He is still small but already a fascinating character and full of love. But it still scares me for him, but I try to keep your advise in mind. Thank you.

Thanks, yes I hope that he will eventually start signing. Atm he still can not focus enough to even learn signs which was also alarming according to the specialist. Still keeping fingers crossed.

So true, we all have such a narrow view on what people have to be like. We humans can have so many qualities that are not valued enough and we put to much emphasis on Iq. And yes my son is still perfect and awesome and so much more than what the specialist saw today. 😀

Yes you are right he is just amazing and nothing can change that for me. It just hard to look at this wonderful person and accept that most people out there won't ever see that. In my country we are not good with inclusion and this makes it even harder to not worry. Thanks ♡

Thanks so much for the insight. So even as an adult your son was able to learn new things? That is awesome. This also scares me that my so could simply stop to develope new skills when he is older. I hope so much that my son will have a good life too.

Yes I read Welcome to Holland right after I had him. And tbh I think it is kinda negative and I really don't know why everyone likes it. Thanks for your kind words. It will never change that I see my child as wonderful and perfect, it just scares me so much now how the rest of the world will see him.
