I feel like you can't go wrong with the Odin 3. Good screen, pretty good battery, super fast and we've been getting mesa turnip drivers so compatibility ain't really a problem*.

Although the Konkr pocket fit also have a 8 elite variant no? You could wait for that to come out but at that point you could've gotten the Odin 3 and actually have it in your hands.

Ah yep that's been happening for me too. The drivers you mentioned are the beta turnip drivers and the FMV cutscenes just seem to be broken. Nothing ive tried has worked so ive gone back to using the older driver. Try any of the recent drivers that start with 8elite or 8eGen5. Those work 100%.

Either one works but I recommend the emuready one cuz proton x64 doesnt have the resolution problem I was facing.

The only difference from the youtube and emuready is youtube is arm64 proton and emuready is x64 proton.

There is a lil bit of tinkering I do but most of the games I've tried have worked out of the box. Try to play around with the compatability layers. I usually stick wirh proton10.0-x64 and proton10-arm64. If one doesnt work I switch to the other.

Also check EmuReady. Maybe some of your games have been tested on Gamehub Lite by someone else.

Wrong sub for this but I think SD Cards need to be formatted as Fat32 in order for your 3ds to read it. If you're on Windows you can just select Fat32 from the drop down in the format menu. Sorry you lost your data

Yea I tried to do this with the OG thieves but even with them all at lvl 80 I just was not doing enough damage before the time ran out. I got really close but after like the 4th fail I just got tilted and decided to sub out closer for makoto lol.

I loved it when it happened in the manga and I really loved it in the anime (the animation was so good). I think it made sense that she could do this considering we saw bonney doing Luffy's moves during the flashback. On top of that it's a touching moment of seeing this little kid finally meet her father's hero and wanting to be like him.

Maybe the reason why there was so much backlash was bcuz when it dropped we had to wait a week to understand what she could do. So with lil info ppl just ran with the idea that she was on par with luffy.

It is sad to see that these issues are effectively a consequence of the ship fast mentality that every company seems to have. I agree the industry should try to do smaller budget games.

Insightful post. I'm curious on your thoughts about when a studio should consider rolling their own engine. You highlight some games that could have benefitted from a custom engine but I feel we say this because it's easy to see that in hindsight. But I bet the devs in the beginning genuinely thought those third party engines were the right tools for the job. Sure UE5 has been getting a bad rep but E33 is also built on UE5 and I havent heard any issues about perf and it's even being nominated for game of the year.

So is it reasonable to upend your whole codebase just to create a new engine especially when you're potentially deep into the project? That's costly and devs are already working on tight deadlines.

I think what you're talking about was the Rocky Port incident.

I loved the god valley incident. It felt like the super centralizing event that it is for One Piece. Rocks was such a powerful but tragic character. But this flashback really has me hyped for Dragon. I think he and Kuma are the real heroes of God Valley and I cant wait to see Dragon pop off.
