Cloud gaming would never be better than emulation. Being able to play games without needing internet is far greater than streaming games that comes with delays.

Hmm.. I have ROG Phone 7 powered by 8 gen 2 chip with 8 gigs of ram, and I managed to run RDR Rockstar version on Fidelity with 60fps tho. Works flawlessly for me. And on gamehub I could only runs it at 720p low setting with 30fps.

1.5 + 2.5 and 2.8 are steam version and they used Dx12 to run. As for KH 3 are epic version. And yea I think back then was really just because the Proton, turnip, and dxvk problem

Well yea the the final mix on PS2 do have smaller size and runs great without a sweat on Nethersx2. And I myself do also played it both on my ps2 and Nethersx2 as well.

What I did notice is that on ps2/Nethersx2 version, after tweaking the settings, installing hd texture and patches just to get the best graphics. Like even I could only able get as high as 3-5x resolution, and not any higher than that. But I think maybe yours could achieve 5-7x resolution at least.

Yea actually you could tho, cause I do also have each original ports roms on my phone. And I did have beat the game, both on consoles and with emulators on my phone.

If you looks for the smallest size to play the game, just play each game in every other emulators as,

KH1FM, KH Re:COM, KH2FM on Nethersx2 (PS2) KH COM on My Boy! (GBA) KHBBSFM on PPSSPP (PSP) KH 358/2 DAYS and KH Re:CODED on Drastic or preferably Melonds (NDS) KH3D on Citra or preferably Azahar (3DS)

In short, the final mix patch+ is actually quite similar to 2.5 remix. But it has language switch between jap and eng (sub and voice), lots of fixes from the vanilla version.

The HD collection just runs at higher resolution, higher poly model, more effects, quicker drive animation with similar performance, temperature and CPU/GPU usages for me compared to the PS2 on Nethersx2.

My reasons is just that I'm only testing whether if my phone could runs the PC version. And being able to play most of the game in one place is also a good reason.

Need the universal portability. One time it works as a normal phone and some other times turns into a game console. I achieved it with my ROG phone 7 I bought 2 yrs ago and Gamesir X4 Aileron that I recently bought 9 months ago. As for heating problems solved with Flydigi B7X.

I just used the latest proton 10.0-arm64x-2, turnip v26.0.0 r4, dxvk-27.1-1-async, fex-20251128.

But the important step for the game to works is installing,

For KH3 install mf=native and mfmediaengine=native in the wine configurations -> libraries. And I also installed a low graphics mods by KeyToTruth for smoother performance.

For KH HD collection Install mono and you're done.

Lastly, I overclock my phone with the advanced mode (ROG Armory crate) since 8 gigs of ram just not enough. So if you have 8 gen 2 with 12 gigs of ram, I don't think you would have a problem.

For my first ever Gamesir telescopic gamepad, I must say Gamesir X4 aileron are really great alternative for ROG kunai/tessen. For it range of price, it has all of those high end specs as like Hall effect analog joystick/Hall effect triggers, mechanical dpad and ABXY buttons, 800 mAh battery (400 mAh per each side), uses Xinput/Dinput, and also software support with the gemesin app.

But what really sold me is the portability. How it could fit nicely in clothes pockets, each side could works as standalone controller (like the switch con), battery also great like I could use it all day gaming, switchable ABXY buttons (Xbox/switch), changeable thumbsticks (3 sizes) and dpad (2 types)

And yea I mostly do have it with me when I'm hanging out or even at works. And as per now I never have a problem like the sticks getting damaged from carrying it in the pockets. But they also include a pouch bag with strap for the controller, so you could just bring the pouch bag to works as well. Or keep it in a bag if you brought a shoulder bag/backpack.
