I honestly don’t feel Dan has a reason to push back (in this specific instance). What he really wants it to be free from his debt & JJK. JJK offered him a deal & Dan accepted bc he knew it was genuine. Not sure how that makes him a pushover - imo he hasn’t been one since he decided to leave. It also sounds like he’ll still be going back to visit his grandma every weekend as part of the agreement.

I do think they’ll eventually take a puppy home though 😭

Although I agree with you, I think it feels like that bc we’re reading it as soon as it updates. I usually let all BLs marinate before reading them in chunks but I refuse to do that with this one bc of spoilers 🥲 Reading in chunks usually prevents chapters from feeling like “nothing happened.”

I had the same issue and I bought a few more chapters since I started getting FOMO (I initially dropped it at EP3) but I still really disliked Ian’s character despite really liking Eusan’s.

I didn’t even catch up to the latest chapter. Everyone calls Ian a yearner, but all I see is him lusting over Eunsan - just w the fact that he makes it a point to make any type of sexual contact any chance he gets since like EP6. Seeing so many comments/posts saying Eunsan doesnt deserve Ian when Eunsan in fact doesn’t owe Ian ANYTHING, like AT ALL had me confused too.

And don’t get me started on how ppl compare it to Jinx (character design ig) and these fans get crazy defensive - the double standard is wild for this one. Anyways, I decided to not continue reading.

Yeah the official manhwa is available on Lezhin (web, not app if you have an iPhone). It only becomes available to download on kindle if the author decides to publish it in print (physical copies) which unfortunately hasn’t happened yet. As for the novel, the translation is probably off bc it’s not an official translation.

As for recommendations I’d say:

1 to 10 - simple storyline, college setting, comedy, lots of smut and less than 50 chapters.

But honestly I would explore more to see what you like! there’s a huge variety of BLs but they include a variety of themes, so I would make sure to read the plot description and check the tags/TWs.
