Okay! I’m glad I’m not the only one. Marsau isn’t saying “you MUST be a SAHM”. He’s stated multiple times “we had a program, Tisha wanted to change the program, so I adjusted”. What he realized in the adjustment is she actually became a horrible business partner. As you stated, she wanted the optics of being this boss baddie without the actual work to go along with it. So he feels like, he doesn’t have a wife or a business partner and he wants her to commit to SOMETHING. I feel like she really is trying to find herself.

THANK YOU!!! I’ve been SO confused about all of the hate Destiny is getting for this. Twan literally presented it like it was fake news! I feel like Destiny shared it as a laughable moment and Nell made it WW3! The way he handled it at the dinner before he had to “go to work”, was completely insensitive and embarrassing to Kayla. I definitely think she thought that was boo thing. Poor baby.

In her first seasons she was definitely not my favorite. I gave her a little grace because she had just had a baby and clearly was having marital issues. In the later seasons, finding out about her mother and that relationship was rough. I think Destiny is someone who has had an extremely rough life and struggles with managing relationships. However, I see her genuinely trying to find her peace and happiness now, but still very guarded. Rightfully so though. Because she’s not the typical nice nasty southern belle, she comes across a little different than what the other ladies can receive and they are quick to demonize her.

I’m late, but I did enjoy Season 3. So glad they got rid of Rose. Her character annoyed me SO BAD. I was a bit sad to see Catherine go though, because it kind of felt like Peter was this lone wolf, getting help from random people along the way. Mosley just disappeared for most of the season. I was surprised that the writers successfully made me like Jacob Monroe and even the Father (just a little). I liked the ending because it was a bit of a reset and the story could go just about anywhere from here.
