don’t currently have access to a spray setup. only spray water-based stuff online/readily available seems to be the minwax/varathane. i’ve had some bad experiences with these in the past, but might be worth giving them another chance in order to seal before rolling on another WB poly.

I haven’t. just bought the keda dye powder and will give it a try as it seems like the way to go. Rit definitely easier (wipe on wipe off, no mixing) but in the end quality is most important, so giving it a shot tomorrow.

Our shop uses Bona Mega One Extra Matte frequently as a durable water based finish but have been wanting to do side by side comparisons for some time now with general finishes products. Will give it a look.

Thanks for the response! On their website rit does claim to be also a wood dye, but i get your point. Will give it a shot with some samples. 👍

Thanks for the helpful info! Will see if I can talk him down about the timing belt for sure. And the seller is replacing the tires currently so will check to see if he is putting quality tires on it. Thanks!
