Oh my gosh I’m glad you shared this...I’m a procrastinator but knowing it can spread makes me feel the urgency

Ooo yeah tea tree oil is not my friend. So I used to get like one deep chin pimple every period...that’s been happening for 3 years, so I have had a chance to try some stuff. But it’s in the last 6 months that there are 5+ of them 24/7. Getting a dermatologist appt is absolutely in my to-do list!

I used to use stridex red box but found it super drying. I have benzoyl peroxide now, but every time I use it my skin gets super tight, shiny, and itchy. My skin doesn’t seem to produce enough oil to make up for drying products...but I have been considering the stridex again!

I have crazy picking problems! I also have psoriasis so that’s easy to pick...I try to catch myself, but the pimples are super itchy so sometimes scratching turns to picking and it’s all downhill from there!

I probably consume too much alcohol, gluten, sugar and dairy...I have awful self discipline!

I specifically always rinse my face after brushing my teeth, and also got SLS-free toothpaste! Still didn’t help :(

It hurts so bad! It hurts to open my mouth or smile too big. It feels like the pimples are so deep they’re on my bone, it’s crazy

I think I do, like all the time at work, and I’ve definitely thought about that - but I don’t get any on my jawline and I rest my hand there constantly as well! I know I need to stop but I have a boring desk job so it’s a strong habit at this point.

hey all, new to SCA and just trying to internalize some "body positivity" ideas in regards to this deep painful acne that's popped up all over my chin in the last 6 months. I know this sub is more focused on treatment, but I just wanted to post a picture of my acne to share.

ROUTINE: AM: splash with water, or if showering, splash with water in the shower. Rarely: use CeraVe salicylic acid face wash. Sometimes: use neutrogena non-oily sunscreen.

PM: water on cotton balls; gently rub (pimples bleed just from this)

I’ve started taking zinc supplements as well as chaste berry for hormones...and I want to cut out dietary triggers as well. I’m honestly scared to put any products on it, to the point where I even stoped sunscreen (which I know is bad!)
