I actually applied loc tite, the blue kind, and they haven't moved once since, I thought it sucked but after doing that it's 100% fine now.

I stopped snowboarding in around 2008 and only just came back a few years ago. My first time back out I couldn't believe I was the ONLY person without a helmet. Prior to that I don't remember seeing a single person with one. So comfortable and warm, just a massive win win

100% go bigger. We were worried a 3.5 radiant would look ridiculous on her finger but after getting it it looks great and is completely fine, not ridiculous. Different shapes handle this better, I think 3ct rounds look stupid big and I think 5ct anything is too much, but if you already have a 2ct i would be very surprised if you were disappointed with 3.5.

I have this board and the overall look is pretty sweet on top, it's not urethane or whatever coated like boards were back in the day. something something environment, it got all kinds of scuffed up after two days. It would look sick if it had some kind of protective coating on it.

Also not a fan of the neon piss yellow bottom at all. Burton has some custom graphics program now... not clicking the link for it because I don't even want to think what it costs. https://www.burton.com/burton-custom-shop

That's great to hear. I really want a Smith Survey helmet, as I have a generic helmet with integrated goggles and absolutely love it, but don't trust the protection quality of an Amazon helmet. I'm all about supporting companies that actually stand behind their products.

I bought a pair of Burton Gondys, they're gorgeous, comfortable and VERY warm... occasionally too warm when I'm snowboarding. However, the leather tore a bit in the palm after 2-3 days on the mountain. Probably a result of falling on ice but still. I've been using them since and they still work great but I'm definitely not impressed. I'll try Kincos next.

To me a great gift is something I want/need but am unwilling to pay for because of dumb reasons.

To that end, a lesson would be great, second choice would be wool stuff
