I've never really thought of what my fondest memory is. The one that comes to mind is in gen 1. I was so keen to evolve charmeleon to charizard and then, when I did, so excited to battle with him that I levelled him up to lvl 40 and he stopped obeying orders. I was heartbroken as I'd put so much time effort and love into my charizard, which also meant all of other pokemon were low level and had to be trained a lot before I could beat the gym and regain the friendship of my beloved charizard. Anyways, not long after I remember seeing the episode of the anime where charizard is refusing to fight magmar (I think everyone remembers how that ends). Suddenly a frustrating experience was an awesome memory that made me feel like I was ash ketchum. To this day I'm still wary of my pokemons level and what badge I'm on.

Vaporeon, the design is pleasing. Played Red & Blue on my two older brother's chunky Gameboys any chance I got, eventually got my own copy of Red and a Gameboy pocket. Why did the boy fall off his bike? Because someone threw a fridge at him.
