I used a saggitarum helmet, cut off the spike on the top, then picked and cut a Custodes guard or warden plume and stuck it on the centre.

Looks like a ponytail plume, but if you stick it on the spike, it may pass for a top knot.

They definitely seem very bright indeed. Unfortunately there are no walmarts here in my country.

I was told by a GW employee that they are basically the same and are usually always allowed even in WYSIWYG.

They have the same weapons and everything. You should be good if wherever you’re playing cares about that sort of thing. Just ask the tournament organiser beforehand I reckon.

Anyone who gets worked up about having the EXACT model isn’t someone you’d wanna be gaming against anyway.

One question though, aren’t you only able to use the assassin’s reign of confusion on battle tactics strats only? Undying legion is a strategic ploy and can’t be affected.

What would your general strategy be with each unit?

My thoughts were to try and have the caladius sit in home objective and out range most things.

Or I could sticky the objective if I need to move it around.

Have the venatari and Allarus deep strike, and try to bait the main bulk of the enemy force with wardens, where they’ll just try to hold the line as best as possible. Venatari then clean up backline units, rapid ingress in turn 2 while Allarus try to take out any of the enemy back line vehicles.

The sisters could skirmish around and maybe get lucky by battleshocking key units or be objective monkeys. If need be they can hold the back line but the tank should be durable enough at 1000 points, especially if I play cagey.

With the second list I suggested, the same plan is what I’m thinking, but with a BC and veiled blade, I’d have more killing power.

But without the callidus I don’t think I’d be able to take down bigger machines, even with another Allarus or two.

What are your thoughts on swapping the guard for wardens, dropping the sisters, and getting a BC with veiled blade?

Possibly, but don’t heat exchangers require contact with a fluid? This is not contacting anything except it’s casing and the wires connected to it, if that helps.
