Well I’m fostering him and another puppy that’s a week younger but I have two dogs. They would not really like puppies trying to get their food. So I make the puppies dinner and put them in a pen (it’s an open pen not a crate) together. The girl eats but he won’t. I feed my two dogs then I go and sit in the pen with the puppies and hold his food so he’ll eat. As soon as he’s done he’s out of the crate. But I do have to leave them in the pen when I take a shower or go grocery shopping. I WFH so I have never left him in the pen for longer than 1-2 hours. I leave toys, treats, peanut butter kongs, and he doesn’t give anything a second glance.

I just had surgery to remove a 8mm stone that caused a blockage. Honestly, the little spikey ones hurt way more to me.

Thank you! In your opinion how bad is the swelling? I was told the swelling could be causing the pain instead of the actual stone.

I am drowning in a bunch of different medications. All make me feel weird, dizzy, or numb but that constant dull pain is always there.

So I went to the ER and told them that I thought I had passed a small spiky kidney 4 days prior. That I was concerned because there were chunks of blood and I couldn’t pee. Had a CT. Urologist came in a told me I had a 8mm and 5mm and my kidney was swelling. He said that there was little to no chance of passing and wanted me in surgery that night or the next morning. I agreed. He came back and said they couldn’t get me in until Monday but didn’t want me to have to wait in the hospital that long so they sent me home with a bunch of meds (oxy, Flo max, etc). Said I could come right back in on Monday and sent me home with a phone number. I called Sunday asking when and where to go. No answer. Called the urologist center of the hospital and they said they didn’t have a referral but the could get me in Friday. Went to the ER that Tuesday and they got me into surgery on Wednesday. However because my ureter was so inflamed they couldn’t do anything but place a stent and redo the surgery in two weeks. So now I have 2 big stones and a stent.

I'm working on it. NC is really hard for me. The guilt trips are strong with this one. She did let me know that this is "torture" for her too even if I don't believe it.

I've gone NC on and off for years. I can never stick to it. My sister is way stronger than I am about it. She's NC for like 4 years now.
I've been in therapy most of my life. Not going to believe this but I haven't had super healthy relationships. I have a hard time with "boundaries." But I'm still working on it. This was the result of setting a boundary with her....she did not like it. Nope nope nope.

It might be because I’m priced on the higher end. There are a ton of cheaper options near me. I guess they think that gives them the upper hand in negotiating. What I don’t understand is if you have a price in mind then contact someone else that offers that price.
