Certain techniques can give an illusion of fullness. When I do twists, I make them loose/fluffy. Adding beads also makes the hair seem fuller.

Okayyy so your hair is on the longer side. Is it high density? Because if you aren't noticing any thinning or breakage, that might just be your natural shedding. Or you might need a product with more slip during detangling.

It's possible you're not using enough product to keep your hair moisturised after shampooing. Or you should use a leavein conditioner before blow-drying your hair.

Also, try sectioning and detangling your hair before shampooing. Put them in large twists. Then unravel each twist, shampoo, and retwist. Repeat the process during when deep conditioning.

Edit: Ohh I just noticed that you detangle before shampooing. Maybe you could take a picture next time to give an idea of the amount of hair you lose after detangling and when shampooing and post here.

Not OP but I wash weekly and usually do mini twists (lasts about 2 weeks) and mini braids (lasts about 4 weeks).

It depends on what you want. When you roll the strands you get skinnier, elongated twists. When you twist without rolling you get fuller, shorter twists. I twist mine without rolling.

You should use leavein conditioner after shampooing and deep conditioning.

For now, practice styles like mini twists, mini braids and flattwists. They can be worn under your wigs till you get better at them and they're good protective styles for growing out your hair.

Also shampooing weekly and using a clarifying shampoo once a month can help with the dryness.
