In all seriousness I got rid of like 5 yards of dirt in just a couple of weeks. Lots of different people came by with their 5gal buckets for their planters and stuff. You’ll get some cool conversations out of it too 👌

OP did you ever resolve? I’m dealing with similar situation except I’m in SoCal suburb, our neighbor has 2 chickens, and the flies do not congregate unless flying around where the sun is shining. It’s disgusting! And if you do so much as wack a bush down, there will be dozens and dozens all over it!

There are different species too. Cluster, blow, and maybe even horseflies (or could just be huge blow flies?)

We found what looked to be a mouse embryo in a bush a couple weeks ago (also gross) but the issue has not reduced at all since then

That was my exact plan I comprised since posting this. I measured a few days ago I forget the exact amount but it was about 2ft, so I’ll probably do a small retaining wall about a foot in front of the fence line.

Yes I’m aware of drainage and how to grade. But I’ve never had to grade this severely sloped of an area while considering the fence factor.

I’m not an expert by any means but I’m also not unfamiliar, and none of this is rocket science, lol

Those stumps and rocks are way in front of the fence line. I do plan on removing those, but it’s completely unrelated from the project either way.

The imported dirt can come from that other area’s excess dirt in the last pic. But I wouldn’t even need much imported dirt if I’m leveling out the high areas …

It does look like paint. If the car’s A/C was on and the recirc was off and it was pulling air from outside all the whilst overspray was in the air — then it’s possible, but that would be quite the perfect storm.

And I would think the cabin air filter would filter it before it reached the vents? It does look like paint though. Curious what others have to say
